What can I expect at St. James Anglican Church’?  We have a worship service on Sundays in Contemporary in style (choir, hymns, organ or guitars)  Modern Anglican Service with music:  Sundays 10:30am  What do you have for my kids? Children are always welcome at our Sunday services.   How do I get involved? There are many ways to get involved:  Come to a worship service on Sunday or Wednesday (first Wednesday of the month), visit our community garden, come to one of our social events or attend our Taizé Service (fourth Wednesday of the month)  Our Mission: To be a loving, joyful, Christ-centred community serving God and serving others. Sunday Worship Services Sunday mornings at 10:30 Please join us for in person Holy Eucharist service with Reverend Amy Cousineau and Reverend Dan Cyr. Wednesday Service at 10:00 am BCP Said Service on the first Wednesday of every month. Please see our calendar for the next Wednesday morning service. Taizé 2023 Evening Services Please join us for an ecumenical service featuring live music, beautiful chants and thoughtful readings, with anointing for healing. Services will take place on the 4th Wednesday of each month. except July and August. See calendar for next date.

COMMUNITY GARDEN Started in 2012, our Community Garden is a communal garden on the church property open to members of the community including the Food Bank. If you, or anyone you know, are interested in planting, maintaining and harvesting your own vegetables, fruit, or flowers this year, please contact Tammy Rutherford to “adopt” a plot in the St. James’ Community Garden. St. James' has been located in the heart of the Fergus community for over 150 years, having moved to its present home on Queen Street East in 1948. One of the distinct things about our church is the community’s openness to explore spiritual practice. Care for Creation is also an important part of who we are as a faith community.
